The Age of the Sphinx

Most historians and Egyptologists claim it's about as old as the pyramids. But I would say that the pyramids, even though they have been significantly damaged, you can see all the outer cladding has been removed. The Sphinx could be way, way older than the pyramids - maybe 5,000 years old. Maybe who knows how much older? I don't know, because I don't have any data.
