Jack is an open source sound server that runs on your system. It talks to the curdl driver part of the alsa stack, and gets it put in place. Jack lets you register inputs and outputs, and then jack lets you rout between them. In our case, we set up v c as a client, and we set up crome as a client,. And then we could rout audio. Betweenthem i snuck a recorder into wes's lab here at the studio and captured the first moment when we actually got this working.
