Happy Days by Beckett

The play is about a woman called Winnie and her husband, Willie. She's buried up to her chest in sand in the first act of Happy days by Beckett. And yet she continues to just simply go through the motions of Chatein. I think it's about the courageousness of humans in the face of apocalypse. It does not come from a deeply desolate and dystopian play, right?
