Gunther Wagner: The Hitler of Europe
Wagner is an Austrian man who started out leading like an NGO promoting like flat tax in Austria. But he became a Hitler basically. Wagner's opaque structure allows it to carry out Russian foreign policy objectives while insulating Moscow from significant blowback, at least until recently. The US needs a diplomatic blitz to fill the power vacuum by the Wagner coup leaves behind. Washington might be able to offer security cooperation or build partner capacity arrangements in exchange for plezards with China also making inroads into Africa.
