American children disappear from their homes or neighborhoods every year. Janelle Matthews of Greeley, Colorado, would have celebrated a happy 13th birthday with her family just last month. Five days before Christmas, Janelle disappeared from her home. The case languished for five years until Keith Olsen was assigned to take another look in 1989.
