After the animatic, we then go into a previous or previous visualization where we create a CGI environment and puppet dinosaurs. We then start to map out all of those camera shots because we're going to be shooting in the real world. There's something that John Favreau always uses to describe the overall process. And he actually hit upon this phrase, wabi sabi, that you and I had not heard this before. All of this talk about how we do it often just came down to those two words,. It was like, okay, got it. It needs more wabi Sabi, right? Okay.
