The High Road and the Low Road
We are called by jesus of nazareth to follow him on this heart, this higher road. Everything in us just screams against it. But as you get older, this gets harder, not easier. The major task, psychological and spiritual, for the second half of our lives is to forgive. We need to forgive, here's the paradime, those who have hurt us. As we age, we can begin to trim down our spiritual vocabulary, and eventually we can get it down o just three words, forgive. Forgive. Forgive!
