The Importance of Prayer

Prayer has basically two purposes: intimacy and alignment. James is after a specific kind of ask, and it is not God give us what we want. Delight yourself in the Lord and he'll give you the desires of your heart. The more we are formed into the image of Jesus, the more our loves are going to be the things that God loves.
