Dave secured himself a grant to study mdma for use in psychotherapy back in the eighties, long before most people had even heard of the drug. He published several papers about m t a that piqued the interest of some amateur chemists sleuthing around the internet for new compounds. By two thousand and two m t a was being sold on street, pressed into tablets called flat liners. And had resulted in six deaths.
