How to Read a Non-Fiction Book

If something is confusing or doesn't make immediate sense to me, i mark it and keep reading in the margin of a book. I mark anything that i initially disagree with or question or don't quite understand. And then at the end the chapter i'll go back and look at what i flagged. By the time i've read through to the end of the chapter, many of those initial questions have been answered by the author. Just ticket, ticket, move on.
