A rule can be very helpful because otherwise you're just arguing about your preferences over somebody else's. That's a great example. She basically took the entire discussion out of their confrontation. It was no longer about either of them and defuse the situation. But I think, Lorraine, also, so much of that varies depending on whether some kind of collectivism is already priced into a society.
