i'm going to read now, to close, from c s. Lewis's wrenching a memoir of losing his wife. He writes pseudonymously about the grief that he experiences. I believe i can make sense out of it. You can't see anything properly while your eyes are blurred with tears. The thing that you can't see is the thing that answers all your grief. And i can't give it to you now. It was as if the lifting of the sorrow removed a barrier. That's the only answer that makes sense out of any of this. It's the only progress anyone has ever made.
