Is the Alamein Line the Limit?
The Alamein line is chosen because it does have a limit. It can't be outflanked. The New Zealanders who kind of, you know, fresh to battle, they lose 800 casualties. They're 800 men down by nightfall on the 27th - that's a battalion. So that night, the 27th, 28th, June, they then fall back. But the rest of the, of the eight farm is already at the Alamein lines. And so this is an opportunity to reduce the enemy's chances for manoeuvre. To exactly that. Remove Rommel's MO from him, in fact. Exactly. At the same time, reduce your supply lines
