The Importance of Culture in Politics

The pay was been stagnant for a generation, almost. Donald Trump comes along and he says, yeah, I'll tell you why your pay is stagnant and you can't get a job because both parties have let you down. And if you read the business sections of American News Fair, you'd think, oh, this guy understands the problem. But people understood what he was talking about. He was a populist candidate who was really onto something. The elites have rigged the education system, the college admission system, immigration benefits them, and takes jobs away from working class. At least that's the argument.
