The economics of farming are crocked. And farmers, to a very large extent, rely on subsidies. Half a trillion dollars a year are spent on subsidies around the world. Most of those are utterly perverse. The only way we can address what we are all talking about here is if we have more opportunities for people to engage in an understanding of what it takes to feed us. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to become a land worker,. But i do think it is really important that we have more opportunity andencouraging more people to engage"
