There was a huge wall of money looking for high returns after the kind of end of the financial crisis that we had at the end of the 1980s, early 1990s. And as you say, those tech companies were looking for a long time for a way to mobilize their position on the internet. Amazon actually did manage to turn a profit within a relatively short period of time. But Uber is a broke kind of comical illustration of what easy money can mean for a tech firm in this tighter monetary environment.
