The Negative Effects of High-River Living on Loneliness and Antisocial Behavior

High-rise living is associated with loneliness, antisocial behavior and decreased trust in neighbors. But researchers say it may be more the kind of side effect resulting from trends in the design of high-rise buildings. The majority of studies that found negative community impacts were carried out in the US and Europe. It's possible differently designed spaces for high-rise life would not produce these negative effects at all.
