There's a lot of talk now about Jeremy Hunt being the de facto prime minister. Liz Tross is so fatally wounded as the mirror succinctly puts it, government imploding times up. She was a very bad front person for economic policy she believed in because she's a monstrously terrible communicator. That wasn't good enough. Finally, they had the chance to turn Britain into a laboratory for the right-wing economic ideas of think tanks such as the Institute for Economic Affairs. So they did cheer us on whether people obviously seek to pretend otherwise.
