negative thoughts essentially be distilled down to something as basic as a bad habit. So from a basic standpoint, this goes back to the survival mechanisms of our brain which have ether two main flavors. Positive reinforcement has three man elements, a trigger, a behavior and a result or reward. If you look at negative reinforcement, it's the same thing. You see, whatever the danger is, the lion or the tiger, whatever, chasing you, you run away. We learn to repeat things that are unpleasant. And so we can ouno our thought patterns can be reinforced in the same way.
