The Sound of Wimbledon
In 2008, the team responsible for the sound of the Wimbledon men's final was nominated for a BAFTA award. The court is covered by a very nice small stereo mic stuck on the back of the court just above the centre line judges head. That occasionally causes an interesting moment when they shout. I'm Bill Wiston and I'm the sound supervisor who did the sound for the 2008 Wimbledon tennis finals, the gents.
