The Origins of Surfing

Ben Freesten grew up in the south coast of England, and always loved the sea. His first experience of being in the water with intent was his cousin's windsurfer. As he moved around a lot, Ben found himself surfing further west to find better waves. He says it is different to Southern California surfing for sure: "I can drive for eight minutes, I could be facing pretty much opposite direction"
