The Role of Wagner in the Russian State
I think what we're seeing now is different aspects of the Russian state, including this group, this revolutionary group is very powerful. And that inevitably led to a clash. Wagner is stronger than Blackwater was, but also the Russian state is weaker than the American state. So it's more personalized, it's more centered around one guy in this case, Putin. There's not these really diffuse power centers and strong institutions.
