The Importance of Healthy Denial
We need some healthy denials the wrong word, I guess just ability to say compartmentalization. Like I have to be able to hold the knowing and put it in a box and put it aside for the moment. But at the end of the day, I cannot handle knowing that a kid got shot in Texas. And then I start crying because I think about my kid and I'm not we're not built for that. That's why we were in small tribes and you well everyone knew each other and in group out group is for your own protection for a reason. The same way your brain is not built, you're not built to deal with something that hasn't happened yet.
