Sally Kohn: I suppose one kind of optimistic take on that would be these sorts of effects might compound over time, right? So that if we narrowed down our scope of focus to we're pretty sure empirically this does lead to a admittedly small but significant real world effect. That then might give us more confidence to design and pour resources into more elaborate interventions based on that principle. She says she has mixed feelings about the positive psychology chapter in her new book.
