The Credentialed Elite of the Democratic Party

Sally Kohn: Instead of a real reform of the American education system, you have all these charities who provide opportunities for credentialed elites to do a little bit of work. She says they feel like they've done their duty by going out and teaching difficult kids in some of America's worst neighborhoods. But she adds that on the other hand, there is also this kind of financial year, the quantitative analyst. "I cannot tell you how much of the American Democratic Liberal elite is totally like hypnotized by this idea of like I was smart, therefore I deserve this," said Kohn.
