Are We Going to Have a War on Taiwan?

US Air Force General Michael Minahan sent a memorandum to his officers last month. The memo was leaked, but here's the quotation from it: "My gut tells me we'll fight in 2025" We're four years behind on deliveries to Taiwan, of what we've promised them, and in some cases what they've paid for, weapons deliveries. And you can't call Raytheon and say, next month I want to have triple a production or Lockheed Martin or fill in the blank one of our great companies that produces further Pentagon goods. This is part of an ongoing conversation between US President Barack Obama and Taiwanese Prime Minister Ma Ying-jeou.
