I think the part that you're referring to is that he would pick me up. Sometimes when my mother could not, it picked me up after, you know, school after sports practice. And one time he picked me up and was weaving down the road. I thought he was doing it just for fun so that I could reach out and touch the bushes on outside the car. But of course, that's not what happened. He was drunk and he ran off the road and we had this accident. You know, by any measure, he would be totally unacceptable today as a like 32, 35 year old man.
