Introduction

On the 6th of August 1945, an American B-29 bomber dropped a bomb on Hiroshima. It took less than a minute to that bomb to travel from 31,000 feet to 600 meters where it detonated. Neutrons crashed into the nuclei of uranium atoms causing a fission chain reaction. Unimaginable energy was unleashed and with it enormous destruction.
