The Healing After the Healing

The healing is an extraordinary miracle but it's also a long, slow disruption. Jesus in no place does he promise, escape from the disruption. All he promises is his presence within it. And we can survive, even thrive amidst the disruptions of this life when we recognize the identity of the God who meets us in the mess. When we recover God's identity something crazy happens. We rediscover our own.
