Using an Event Loop for Reading From the Message?

Job lib has a similar project called locky. I've actually thought up about dumping billiard and using their implementation, but that would require a lot of work. And given that piton has nowa a viable way to remove the global interpreter lock there, maybe we don't need to invest that much in prefort any more. So if you have a list and we append to it, you expect that will happen without an additional mark. How does that kind of effect celary? Is that basically one of the reasons why are we using an event loop for reading from the message?
