Ukraine's Counter-Offensive on Baphmoot

Ukraine's deputy defence minister said the Ukrainian soldiers have established fire control of the entrances and exits of Baphmoot. The claim comes as Ukrainian officials try to speed up their counter offensive to show progress ahead of NATO's annual summit. It seems Ukraine believes there is an opportunity to envelop the city, thus rendering its seizure redundant. Russian military bloggers generally consider to be better informed than many mainstream Russian media outlets have confirmed that there was fierce fighting around the heights yesterday. Elsewhere on the front, Ukrainian forces claimed to have conducted counter-offensive operations on at least three sectors on July 10th.
