The UK has published figures today showing that it's government as a percentage of the economy, which was only 38% before the pandemic. I really do think that we have stumbled into a very high public spending, very top down and centralized view of the economy that isn't a great one. And so I worry as to who is going to drive the engine of innovation, which is the source of true growth in the coming decades. I don't see it being Europe.
