Hydrothermal Vents - What Do You Listen For?
We try to understand what the geological sounds like hydtomvent, water coming out from the orifices sound like. And also if there are any evidence of animals that are making sound lotally. How do you tease out all the different sounds though? Because if you really have a densely layered sound scape of whales and dolphins and worms and fish and hydrothermal vents, how are you able to identify what sound belongs to whats? Thankfully, we have an understanding of what different sounds sounds like, especially those such as the shipping noise and dolphin whistles.
