Does the Complexity of Trade Agreements Make It Hard to Maintain Broad Public Support Trade?

Trade agreements contain a significant amount of industry jargon which is necessary to achieve real world commercial transactions. I've often thought the businesses shouldn't never need to read a trade agreement what they should do is just focus on their what they're selling or purchasing and look at the regulations later. When NAFTA reduced tariffs between the US and Mexico it made almost no difference to my company's business because we've been in Mexico since 1947 something like that.
