Are We Getting Rid of Guns?

i feel when we have this conversation about gun control, we're often forgetting the root of the problem. Why are we creating people in our culture who want to go into schools and shoot children before either ending their life or being killed shortly thereafter? I mean, what is happening? How dodoes the human being get to this point? But i would like americans who are progun to try to take their ideological opponents seriously and to respond to them in a way that they can hear.
