The Origins of Totalitarianism
There are various themes that consistently reappear across the body of her work. Thinking is very important to Arendt's work, which I outlined in the introduction to the biography I wrote. She comes back to the question of thinking and what it means to think throughout her career. For her, her mentality became the principle of what it meant to act in order to possibly create spaces of freedom. Language is probably the most important thing to be attuned to when you're reading Hannah Arendt.
