Is There a Need for External Regulators?
Face books say it is that they have invested, by which they mean they've hired some more people. But a dozen ads explicitly inciting jeniside don't somehow get caught in the net. So whatever theres investment is just clearly ain't enough. Nobody knows how these algorithms work - maybe not even the people building them. If you've got a thousand times as many people on your network, you may well need a thousand timesa many content moderators. And so self regulation will always fail.
