Sally Kohn: People often say, well, this is how people want to live. She says there's a hidden history of rebellion against the encroachment of cars on public spaces. We were kind of locked into this automobile sprawl pattern of living that forces us to have a car, she says.Kohn: I think there's a lot of evidence that people in fact would really like lots of different options and not to be forced into this kind of automobile dominant lifestyle.
