I Don't Doubt That There's a Psychological Aspect to This.
Woton said that ukraine is an artificial, historical construct and it ought to be part of russia. So isn't this pretty strong evidence that hoton does simply want more territory for russia? I don'tink he went that far as something that he believes a but you don't want t pe. People can think whatever they want about their neighbors, right? It doesn't preclude the security concerns, which are eminently reasonable. Even if there was an aggressive leader, nato expansion makes it much easier to sell the war.
