Serifen vs Ambition - What's the Difference?

The data from the serifen trial changed the way pH research was approached overall. After this publication, what was the feeling in the pH community that led up to the ambition trial? Great question. I think it's always been very clear that patients with functional class IV symptoms should be treated with upfront parenteral prostate psychotherapy. But the optimal approach for most patients that were seeing those with functional class II or functional class III symptoms was less clear. Is upfront combination better than sequential combination therapy? These questions came from a place of fortunately having more treatment options available, but we're really unanswered at the time.
