The Battle for the Guardians Soundtrack

James Gunn had to fight the New York Creative Committee for his Guardians soundtrack. I think tying the soundtrack in the first two movies to the mixes made by Peter's mom is a way to easily get away with what Gunn did needle drop wise in those first two movies. The Zoom era is sort of like a cute continuation, so he can use more contemporary music. It starts with radio head and acoustic version of creep. And then the floor is the machine really got me. Like I got really emotional with the floor are the machine needle drop. It's a great movie moment. But I do think we need a slight moratorium on Beastie Boys. They're not no longer active.
