The Importance of Being a Good Parent

We all love to serve and we hate to be served. Why? Because I'm not independent, because I shouldn't need anybody. Right. But the truth is that we are human beings need people. And we need to be seen by people. Exactly as we are for our own wellness. To the extent that that is not able to happen, we are going to experience trauma. It manifests in lots of emotions that we don't know what to do with. You will never find a one-week old who denies themselves their gut instinct. This is something we learn. We can frustrate our kids out of being bad parents or good parents. So everything gets turned inward on itself.
