The Last Hurrah

Sonam Zeba: I had been meeting with Fernando off and on for years. He hadn't seen his kids in over a decade, but he would occasionally tell me stories of when they were Hank and Simon's age. That was before a string of prison sentences and about of drug use and a long absence that their relationship had just never quite recovered from. We all tend to carry some area of our lives like this, some place that we can't quite forgive ourselves from. And so we assume that God can't forgive us either.
