turning red had really admirable goals, but failed to deliver on them. Josh: I appreciated that the film makers were trying to a honor the experience of an adolescent girlt the realities of being that age and that gender. But i worry that this movie, ironically falls into what i call the apo trap. Katelan: It felt like youre trying to represent asian immigrants from different ous background, but you're using their culture in a way that's not honoring.
