Was Lama a War Criminal?

Lamay's doctrine is that a nation should think long and ard before it goes to war. We were facing an invasion of japan that would have easily killed more japanese and more more americans. And lamay, by making these very hard decisions that nobody else would want to make, actually winds up saving millions of lives by just ending the war as fast as possible. So if we don't stand why it was so important to defeat these two countriesth that is why you have to put what lamay did in that context.
