Exactly Which Annotation Should I Use for This?

Raster annotations are typically going to be a lot more precise. This is important in cases where you really need your algorithm to see the exact sort of contours of an object or or feature that your empting to capture. If you go with a simpler type of annotation, you can most likely process a much greater volume of data using a simpler annotation. A more complex one will take longer and may not be able to process as many images or data points through that work flow.
