The Consequences of Ignorance
With ignorance, this chelesa of ignorance further conditions another powerful defilement: craving or desire. Craving or desire is the hungering or thirsting for different experience, different sights of sounds or mind objects. We can see how it works in very big ways in our lives; we're always looking for the next moment to get to the next one. This also conditions wrong view, not only this craving that we have, but it also conditions this wrong view of taking things to be self, to be I. These three kelaces in the mind, ignorance, craving and grasping, keep us moving around and around in the cycle of samsara.
