There is one species of capsicum that actually will survive down to a zone seven. It's reportedly able to survive down to negative 15 degrees celsius wo and over here, the lowest temperatures i've seen were negative nine for about a week. And you know, these things have been just covered in snow they, some branches do die off, but most of them do stay strong. They're six feet tall, making thousands of chily peppers.
