Gandhi - Just Make Your Own Clothes

Gandhi encouraged was don't cooperate with the British economy. He lived a simple life and taught this exactly to the people of India during their fight against the British. Why freedom? He's trying to help Indians become free, right? And he knew that freedom would not come from buying more, more or more stuff from the British. It would come from instead living simple lives and focusing again on religion and family and then being disobedient.
