The Incommensurability Paper, Ye Two Thousand 12
Incommensurability is a notion that, for me, emerged from attempts to understand apparently nonsensical passages encountered in old scientific texts. One good example is, the steam engine engineers began its development with phlogiston theory of combustion. Phlogiston theory was an attempt to explain oxidation, fire and rust. And so i want to read this quote of the paper, and then i'm going to talk about it as the example.
